Often referred to by midwives as the "AquaDural", laboring in water has been known to help relax the mother both decreasing the pain and duration of labor. We typically attend several water births per month, and highly recommend utilizing the soothing benefits of warm water. As our client, you are welcome to use your own tub, or reserve on of ours...



LaBassine/Oasis inflatable pool (free)


This inflatable tub is the most popular choice by far. It is available to all Holistic Home Birth clients at no extra charge! It was designed with water birth in mind, and is oval shaped, with convenient handles on either side. It features vertical air chambers for sturdiness, and an inflatable bottom for comfort. Tub, air pump, hose and faucet adapter are included with reservation. (Waterbirth accessory kit must be purchased from www.yourwaterbirth.com).


The dimensions of this tub are approximately 4ft x 5 ft, and 22in deep. It holds 100 gallons, and the filled weight is 800lbs. This is a ONE person tub. if you desire for your partner to get in with you, you must upgrade to a larger tub.

Aquadoula heated pool $225



This is the largest tub available, easily accommodating 2 people. The tub features a built-in heater, for easy temperature maintenance, and can be set up weeks ahead of delivery (can only be filled with water for a few days). Tub delivery, fill hose, faucet adapter, draining and pick-up are all included with rental. (Waterbirth accessory kit must be purchased from www.yourwaterbirth.com).


Dimensions are 24in deep and 60in diameter. it holds 120+ gallons and filled weight is <960lbs. You will need to turn up your water heater in order to fill this tub. It is excellent at maintaining temp, but very, very slow at heating it up from cold.

jetted birth pool $400



By far our most decadent option, this tub is both heated and jetted. it comfortable accomadates 2 people, and can be set up (and enjoyed) several weeks prior to birth! Features include several jets and attachable filters. You wont want to give this tub back! Rental includes delivery in the Colorado Springs region, hose for filling, faucet adapter, draining and pick-up.


Dimensions are 22in tall and 48in internal diameter. It holds j110 gallons and filled weigh it over 1000lbs. Due to the intensive cleaning requirements of this tub, there will be no more than 1 rental available in any 6-week window. If you want to rent this tub, please be sure to secure your reservation EARLY!
